This is how Teviotdale
Speedway looked in October, 2004.
Teviotdale ran
from the early 1950's to the early 1960's. It reopened in 1968 and
closed again in the early 1970's. Racing was on Sunday afternoons.
The track is located on the north side of Wellington County Road 93
/ 123, just west of the village of Teviotdale and east of Palmerston.
It's immediately to the east of the feed supply facility and on their
property.
The track surface is not overgrown but is coming apart. The feed supply
company is using it to store scrap metal. The front wall is mostly
intact as well. There's a pile of lumber stacked on the outside of
the front straight that might have been the grandstands.
