Opened June 4, 1967
The Algoma Stock Car Club moved here from Northern Raceway when Heyden offered more money
Race day was Sunday in 1967
Track manager was Edgar Wilson
Lights were added in 1968 and racing switched to Saturday night
Improvements for 1968 including relocating and enlarging the pits, new concession stands, nearly doubling the size of the grandstands and expanded spectator parking
New washroom were added in 1969, the track was resurfaced and extended by 60 feet, and the public address system was replaced
Enzo Alfano took over management during the 1971 season
Car counts and spectators dropped in 1971 due to competition from Fifth Line Speedway
The site was converted into a trailer park in 1972 and remains one today
