Built and operated by the Prince George Automobile Racing Association (PGARA)
Located at Ferry Avenue and Highway 16 West on the site of the old airport
First race was held on May 18, 1953
There were no grandstands for the first few years - fans sat in their cars to watch the races
There were two tracks on site
First track was used for three seasons and then was re-located to better ground just to the north in the 1956 season
The track was paved in 1959 and the opening race on the new surface was July 1, 1959
New grandstands were built for 1959
Grandstands were condemned duruing the 1971 season and had to be replaced quickly
Closed at the end of the 1984 season due to the city moving closer and the club moved to a new site
