- Built over an old horse track that had been unused for about 30 years
- Opened on August 8, 1951
- Property was owned by Albert Weber
- Operated by the Maple Leaf Midget and Stock Car Racing Club in 1951
- The club rented the track from Weber
- Raced Wednesday nights in 1951
- Did not operate in 1952
- Re-opened in 1953 under a partnership consisting of Glenn Kreitzer, W.E. Meyer, Albert Weber, Howard Weber and Roy Weber
- Switched to Saturday night racing in 1953
- There was a drivers' strike in 1962 to secure a guaranteed purse instead of the purse being a percentage of the gate income
- The reason for closing was mostly due to noise complaints
- Track property is now baseball fields
