- Calgary Timing Association organized races in 1957-58
- Racing ended due to the quality of the surface and a lack of coordination between the city's car clubs
- Gene McMahon was the original promoter in 1963
- He leased the land from Arthur Grobe
- Racing was conducted by the Calgary Drag Racing Council in 1963
- After the CDRC moved its races to Airdrie, McMahon created the Calgary Timing Association (appears to be a new version of the club) to conduct drag races
- Bought by Gene McMahon and Gord Jenner in the off-season between 1974 and 1975
- The track was reduced to 1/8 mile in length in 1982 due to the expansion of a nearby highway
