Track Info:
- Originally built as an airfield for the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan in World War II
- Located on the south side of Highway 26 between Stayner and Edenvale, Ontario - the entrance is off the 15/16 Line
- The British Empire Motor Club (BEMC) organized the racing from 1950-1955
- In 1956 the property owner decided to try running it himself as a professional track
- He turned it into a 1.5 mile tri-oval (see Stayner Speedway)
- Used for drag races in 1958 - run by the Toronto District Hot Rod Association
- In 1959 the owner turned it back into a road course and held motorcycle and sports car events
- The military re-activated the site in 1962 as a remote radio communications station for Base Borden
