Track Info:
- Original owners were Len Motimore and the Friedman family
- Opened June 4, 1967
- The Algoma Stock Car Club moved here from Northern Raceway when Heyden offered more money
- Race day was Sunday in 1967
- Track manager was Edgar Wilson
- Lights were added in 1968 and racing switched to Saturday night
- Improvements for 1968 including relocating and enlarging the pits, new concession stands, nearly doubling the size of the grandstands and expanded spectator parking
- New washroom were added in 1969, the track was resurfaced and extended by 60 feet, and the public address system was replaced
- Enzo Alfano took over management during the 1971 season
- Car counts and spectators dropped in 1971 due to competition from Fifth Line Speedway
- The site was converted into a trailer park in 1972 and remains one today
