• Opened in June of 1998
• Ron Hefler, the promoter of the Maritime Legends Cars convinced the owners of the Exhibition Park in Halifax to build an oval
• Hefler was the manager for the first two years under a lease arrangement
• Ran Sportsman, Street Stocks, Hobby Stocks, Mini Stocks, Hornets and was a stop on the Legends tour and for MASCAR
• The owners of the property, Trade Centre Ltd, took over the track management in the last two seasons
• Car counts dropped and attendance dropped off
• The decision to close the track was based on financial losses
