- Built by John Wagner
- Opened on July 14, 1965
- Only held 5 nights of racing due to bad weather
- Races organized by the Algoma Stock Car Club
- Closed in July of 1967 due to competition from Heyden Speedway
- Re-opened in 1971 - John Wagner was still the owner but it was leased to various people over the years including Frank Milano, Enzo Alfano and Louie Boiani
- Josh and Linda Frenette became the promoters in 1983
- Lou Boiani took over the lease in 1984
- As of 2004 much of the track remains and it is used as a test drive area for Maitland Ford
