• Built by John Chisholm
• Gerry Lawrence and Ron King became promoters in 1978
• Jim King leased the track from owner John Chisholm beginnnig in 1983 with Ernie McLean assisting in the promotion
• Ernie McLean became the promoter in July, 1983
• Track Manager was Ernie Ledwidge in 1984
• Bought by Eric Vandaalen in 1987
• Vandaalen died in Dec, 2004
• Sold to John Chisholm (the original owner) between the 2005 and 2006 seasons
• Major upgrades for the 2006 included replacing the guard rails with wall, replaced the grandstands, new towere, new concessions and total repaving
