Track Info:
- Property was originally a left-over WWII airfield, owned since 1948 by Bruce Mehlenbacher Sr
- In 1954 several car clubs asked Mehlenbachers permission to use the airfield for drag racing
- The clubs created the Ontario Timing Association to run the races
- The track was run by the Ontario Timing Association until 1963
- Larry Rook and Don Douglas were the leaseholders until 1963 when Jerry Hamond joined the partnership
- The track was set up using all 3 sides of the air strip triangle - one side for the races, one for the return road and one for the pits
- In 1960 the drag strip was moved to its present location
- George Foote ran the track from 1968-70
- In 1971 Bruce Mehlenbacher decided to run the track himself
- Sold to John Fletcher, Bill Vanni and Vince Vanni in late 1983
- Fletcher bought out his partners in 1984
- Bought by a group of investors in May, 1990
